In partnership with the Edmonton Construction Association, the Edmonton Multicultural Coalition (EMC) organizes major employment and workforce access initiative focused on connecting job seekers, particularly newcomers, ethnocultural, and equity‑deserving community members with meaningful opportunities in the construction sector and related industries. Through this collaboration, EMC helped reduce barriers to employment by creating direct pathways between skilled and motivated job seekers and employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. The initiative strengthens labour market participation, supports economic self‑sufficiency, and contribute to long‑term community integration across Edmonton.
