Giving something back to the community

Edmonton Multicultural Coalition offers exciting volunteering opportunities for everyone – employed, unemployed, students and seniors. Most of our programs and projects are volunteer-driven so you will feel fully engaged and at home among colleagues. Besides expanding your networking opportunities, the Coalition recognizes volunteers through award and appreciation schemes and is happy to offer references to potential employers. As part of our best practice ethical code, all volunteers are subject to police check. Contact us by phone 780 760 1973 or sent us an email

Students

If you are looking for an organization that works with grassroots ethnocultural communities to uplift their standards of living and perceptions of the world around them, then look no further. The Coalition champions the cause of ethnocultural communities in Edmonton by providing information, advice and guidance about opportunities for employment, careers and training.

Employed or Unemployed

If you are unemployed and you would like to be meaningfully engaged while you seek full time employment, we would like to hear from you. In fact employers would rather hire someone who has been volunteering than the one who is idle. And if you are employed or self-employed, we would appreciate any number of hours you may spare to share your skills and talents to assist the Coalition achieve its objectives.

Seniors

If you are a senior; retired or still working but feel energetic to offer more, please get in touch as we feel we can benefit from your invaluable experience.
